About Me

G’day!

Most of my time is spent playing with people’s speech, making music, and riding motorcycles. I recently completed my PhD in experimental phonetics at the University of Canterbury (Christchurch, New Zealand), and have since begun a postdoctoral fellowship in the Alberta Phonetics Laboratory (University of Alberta).

My work primarily explores the various ways in which speech production and perception can be influenced by our immediate surroundings, as well as our experience and expectations.
